Welcome to Mediwarn! The Mediwarn Strap and Pouch were designed through a desire to keep my 12 year old son safer. He likes to do all the stuff most boys like to do; bike, skateboard, surfboard, water polo, footy, and racing around with his mates. He also doesn't want to look dorky by carrying a backpack everywhere and wearing jewelry. I developed these 2 products to give me peace of mind and him the freedom he demands.
The strap is made from Velcro and durable webbing with no tags or metal pieces to scratch or break. The Strap can be worn in the water. It is wrapped around the wrist and printed on both sides so that it can not be worn inside out.
The Pouch is attached to a lanyard and is worn around the neck so that he can go skateboarding, bike riding etc without carrying a 'hypo pack' around. The Pouch will hold a handful of jelly beans or a glucose strip, enough to get him somewhere safe so that the hypo can be treated properly. |
